Looks like the Libertarian Party was right. The Story below is from Bob Barr's website. It links to the documents filed by the Democratic and Republican parties. The Democrats filing is notarized after the deadline, so it is obviously too late. The Republicans filing doesn't list both the presidential and vice presidential candidates as required by law. It is not notarized and it is a matter of public record that the party had not officially nominated their candidates by the deadline.
The Barr campaign is threatening legal action to block the major parties from being on the ballot. The law is clearly on their side, but there is still a good chance the courts will rule in favor of the Republicrats.
